Mom Jeans

Hello!
Today I want to touch on the topic of "how much can one love a certain piece of clothing". I have had my fair share of favorite clothing items and wearing them to death has become a habit, and finding different ways to wear them is like a personal style challenge. This is the part where i swoon over my new mom jeans and the fact that I literally can't imagine wearing anything else (jeans wise). I never thought I would be one to wear them as I don't like when pants don't fit me snug around my legs and I feel like I'm wearing the wrong sized jeans, but as soon as I tried these on I felt like a whole nother person - dare I say a mom?! But the cool kind of mom, the one who is chill and down for whatever and buys her kids endless amounts of clothes. Anyways, now that we're done reflecting, here is my outfit from a few days ago - casual and cool, my fave combo.

Денес сакам да поразговараме на темата "колку може да се сака едно парче облека". До сега, како и секој друг човек, сум имала одредени парчиња облека кои сум ги носела до смрт, и самото нивни комбинирање со друга облека го сметав за еден персонален моден предизвик. Ова е делот каде што ви кажувам за новите mom jeans и како не можам да замислам комбинација без нив. Не верував дека јас би била човекот што ќе го носи овој тип на фармерки затоа што обично сметам дека фармерки кои не се тесни на мене можат да изгледаат како да не сум го купила точниот број. Но, веднаш штом ги пробав овие се почувствував како нов човек - како мајка?! Ама кул мајка, типот на мајка што е чил и им купува на децата премногу облека. Како и да е, ова е мојот аутфит од пред некој ден - кежуал и кул, мојата омилена комбинација.

Ice Ice Baby

Hello!

I don't know where you live, but in Skopje it's full on summer! With 25+ C degrees there is only one thing we need - Ice cream! And can I just say, using Ice cream as a photo shoot prop on such high temperatures is close to impossible, and it was like a battle between me and the melting ice cream cone (but a delicious battle none the less). 

Eating ice cream from Malaga and walking around Skopje Center was a regular once a week tradition with my parents when I was little, so simple things like these take me back and bring me sweet (literally) memories. Did you have any traditions with your parents? Let me know in the comments!

Мислам дека сите сме свесни за летните температури кои ги имаме последниве неколку дена. Со 25+ Целзиусови степени постои само едно нешто што ни треба - сладолед! И морам да признаам, да се користи сладолед како фото реквизит е блиску до невозможно, и се случуваше борба меѓу мене и сладоледот кој се топеше со рапидна брзина. Но, тоа беше всушност целата забава. 

Јадењето сладолед од Малага и шетањето низ Центар беше една мала неделна традиција за мене и моите родители кога бев мала, така да малите работи како овие ме враќаат назад на тие денови. Дали вие имавте мали традиции со вашите родители? Споделете ги во коментарите!

FWSK Recap: Irina Tosheva & Elezi Paris

And time for FWSK Recap part 2! With this part I am ending the fashion show reviews, and getting back into regular posting, and be on the look out for my next post, it's a good one. 

Anyways, these two collections were shown on day two and oh boy was it eventfull. We had the opportunity to see a lot of new collections, but the collections from Irina Tosheva and Elezi Paris gave me the best impression. 

И време е за FWSK Recap 2 дел! Со овој дел ја завршувам оваа мини-серија на постови, и продолжуваме со регуларните аутфит постови. П.С. Деновиве ќе биде објавен наредниот, така да внимавајте.

Да се навратиме на денешната тема на разговор, а тоа се ревиите на Ирина Тошева и Елези Париз. Двете ревии беа прикажани на вториот ден на FWSK и ми оставија најголем впечаток, затоа денес ќе пишувам за нив, се надевам ќе ви се допадне. 

Ирина Тошева | Irina Tosheva 
Колекција "Риза" | Collection "Riza"

Without a doubt, Irina's shows are the main attraction at FWSK. And each year she never dissappoints. This season we saw a pastel colored dream inspired by traditional macedonian handicrafts but with a modern twist - 3D print! In collaboration with macedonian architect Nikola Kungulovski the models walked down the runway in amazing garments with 3D motives that are perfect for going from a casual to dressy look in just seconds. My faves were those bomber jackets, talk about coolness!

Без сомневање, ревиите на Ирина се главната атракција на Моден Викенд. И секоја година не не разочарува. Оваа сезона видовме пастелен сон инспириран од ракотворбите од традиционалните македонски везови но со модерен твист - 3Д принт! Во соработка со архитектот Никола Кунгуловски, парчињата од колекцијата наречена "Риза" ни оставија многу голем впечаток, и јаготката на шлагот - совршени се за трансформирање - од кежуал во вечерен изглед за неколку секунди.

 
Елези Париз | Elezi Paris

Elezi Paris is a fashion brand by Flora Elezi and was one of the many guest designers to showcase their collections at FWSK. I liked this show for two reasons: 1. I liked the garments from the collection, I thought they were romantic and feminine. 2. This show was actually really fun to watch. The bouquets that the models were carying were thrown at the audience and it was like a fun game of "who will catch the bouquet?" At one point I even said to my friend who was sitting next to me "I don't want this fashion show to ever end" and that says a lot.

Елези Париз е моден бренд на дизајнерката Флора Елези која беше една од многуте гости дизајнери кои ги прикажуваа нивните ревии на Моден Викенд. Ми се допадна оваа ревија поради две причини: 1. Ми се допаднаа парчињата од колекцијата, беа нежни и женствени, нешто што ми е слаба точка. 2. Оваа ревија всушност беше многу интересна за гледање. Букетите кои ги носеа моделите на крај ги фрлаа кон публиката и беше како интересна игра на "Кој ќе го фати букетот?". Во еден момент дури и реков на другарката до мене "Не сакам ревијава да заврши" што кажува многу хаха.

FWSK Recap: Rosica Mrsic & Olgica Gjorgieva

Fashion Weekend Skopje was from the 1st of April through the 3rd, a short lived season but still quite eventful. FWSK is like a fun gathering for all of the fashion bloggers and each year we have so much fun.
I've decided to do a two part FWSK Recap post for the shows that I enjoyed the most, so without any further or do, time for a recap of the Rosica Mrsic and Olgica Gjorgieva fashion shows.

И така помина уште една сезона од FWSK (1-3 Април), кратка но сепак полна со ревии. FWSK за мене е како забавна собиранка за сите модни блогери каде истовремено можеме да погледнеме супер колекции и ревии.
Решив да направам FWSK Recap пост кој ќе биде поделен на два дела од ревиите кои лично ми се допаднаа најмногу, така да да започнеме со првиот дел: Росица Мршиќ и Олгица Ѓоргиева.

Rosica Mrsic / Росица Мршиќ

Rosica Mrsic's SS16' line was inspired by the Italian painter Modigliani, to be more precise - his female portrets. With a monochromatic choice of colors, Mrsic's models waltzed down the runway in feminine yet strong pieces. We were shown the perfect LBD (and a beautiful Maxi BD), lazer cut dresses and tops and work appropriate clothing that can easily be transformed into sophisticated going out clothing. I can honestly say, I had the chanse to see very little from the actual show since there were too many people in front of me (which happens at 40% of the shows) so I can only speak from the impression I got from the photos.

Линијата на Росица Мршиќ SS16' e инспирирана од италијанскиот сликар Модиљани односни женските ликови од неговите портрети. Со монохроматски избор на бои, моделите на Мршиќ се појавуваа на пистата со женствени но истовремено силни парчиња. Ни беше прикажано совршеното мало црно фустанче (и еден прекрасен црн макси фустан кој ми го украде здивот), фустани и горни делови со ласерски исечоци, и облека која многу лесно може да се трансформира од за во работна средина во софистицирана вечерна облека. Искрено, имав многу мала шанса да ја погледнам оваа ревија како што навистина заслужува заради преголемиот број на луѓе кои седеа пред мене (што се случува на 40% од ревиите на Моден Викенд), така да зборувам само од импресијата која ја добив откако ги погледнав сликите.

Olgica Gjorgieva / Олгица Ѓоргиева

Olgica Gjorgieva's show was exactly was I was hoping I would see. Elegance with a youthful touch, and I am not being biased when I say this. Her pieces are always on trend and the materials she used were perfect for spring. Up there for me was the bomber jacket, it's the perfect transitional piece for inbetween seasons. I had a better seating for this show so I was able to get the full effect from the whole presentation and liked it very much.

Ревијата на Олгица Ѓоргиева беше баш тоа што го очекував од неа. Префинетост и елеганција со младешки допир,и не сум пристрасна кога го велам тоа. Нејзините парчиња секогаш имаат некоја свежина во нив, без разлика дали се работи за фустан или палто. Материјалите едноставно врескаа пролет, дополнети со мали детали инспирирани од цветови. Помеѓу фаворитите ми е бомбер јакничката која е прекрасна и совршено транзиционално парче за сите сезони.

March Playlist | 2016

Hello!
Wow, March passed by so quickly I can't even. Only two more months of school and then prom and exams and...Okay, no more talking about what is in the future, instead, let's live in the present, and the present says "Elena, time to share your March Playlist".
I sadly don't have that much new music to share with you guys, the main reason being the lack of internet I've been having in March. And I'm not talking not being home or not having time to sit on my laptop, but actual lack of internet, as in none. And being the stupid me that I am, I rarely download new music on my phone, so the only songs that I listened to were old ones (shout out to JB's "Company", that song is still my fave).
Anyways, here are the few new ones that I have been loving through March.

"Her" by Majid Jordan has been my jam in the begging of March. I love the smooth RNB sound that they have. I measure songs on a scale of 1 to "OMG Kyle Hanagami needs to make a choreography to this song". And this song is definitely a Kyle Hanagami.

Okay I feel like "Lush Life" has been all over the radio stations, and for a good reason. It's just a feel good song and it makes me want to stand up and dance like I'm 15 years old and just starting high school and have no worries about anything. Ah, the good old times.Also, Zara Larsson is such a babe, how are we the same age?!?

Stephen is back in the playlist with "Sincerely". I said in an earlier playlist that Stephen is still a new artist and is trying to find his sound, and I think that he has found it. I would describe it as "Preaching with a good beat in the background".  The theme of the song is the same as in "Crossfire", so that bothers me a bit, that he is not giving himself enough artistic space, he can do so much more!

Ah, Jaymes Young my ray of sunshine. A ray of sunshine on a cloudy, moody day. That is how I can describe "Come Back For Me", as a laid back but still moody song. He has a destinct sound and I can tell apart from all of the other artists. 10 for you Jaymes Young, you go Jaymes Young!

And for the last one, I just had to - "Cheap Thrills". Let me quote the girl in the beggining of the video "I think it's got a good beat and you can dance to it". Honestly, how can you not like this song? It's fun and light hearted, plus I am all on board for cheap thrills.
