AM

Hello!
These past few days here in Skopje we have been experiencing lots and lots of rain - probably my least favorite thing in autumn (probably because I tend to lose every single umbrella I take with me,well,anywhere). So, I decided it was time to brighten up my blog with these awesome photos I took with my new fave person - Nikola Ilievski. He is an up and coming photographer and It was my pleasure to take photos with him.
As you can see, the weather was so warm that I basically pranced around town with short sleeves, and this was the beginning of November! Ah, remembering the good old times when we were experiencing California "autumn".
The AM shirt was a very dear gift from my friends, they know me too well.

Последниве неколку дена во Скопје времето е ладно, и врнежливо и ужасно, ова ми е најнеомиленот дел од есента (најверојатно затоа што имам тенденција да ги губам сите чадори без разлика каде одам). Така да, решив да споделам неколку фотографии од деновите кога беше прекрасно и сончево. Фотографот позади постов е Никола Илиевски, мојот нов омилен човек! Како фотограф во подем ,ми беше чест што ја имав можноста да застанам објективот на Ник.
Како што можете да видите, тука времето беше толку топло што комотно се шетавме низ градот со маичка на кратки ракави, а ова беше на почеток на Ноември. Ах, да се потсетиме на времињата кога имавме Калифорниска есен.
AM маичката ми е драг подарок од друштвото, толку добро ме знаат.

Time explorer

Forests are such a mystery to me. When you are surrounded by so much trees, wildlife , and fresh air you can’t not think about time and how it seems to pass by so slowly in places like this. You just sometimes need to get out of the day do day schedule and not think about, well, anything. Just you and your camera, alone but not at the same time.

Шумите се една голема мистерија за мене. Кога си опкружен со толку многу дрвја,диви животинчиња  и свеж воздух, не можеш да не размислуваш за тоа како времето одминува толку споро во места како овие. Едноставно понекогаш треба да излеземе од нашите секојдневни рутини и да не размислуваме за, па, било што. Само ти и твојот фото апарат, сами но, истовремено и не.

Time for a picnic

What is more perfect than a picnic in the park, accompanied by your favorite books, a peaceful view and the most amazing Fossil watch on your wrist? 

In last weeks blogger meet up with Skopje Casual, we were presented with the chance to be a part of a Blogger Challenge created by My:time and Fossil, in which the bloggers have weekly challenges to style a certain Fossil watch and at the end a winner is chosen. For my post I was inspired by the history behind the Fossil watch and Its design. Fossil watches stand for the simplicity in the past with their vintage inspired design, but adjusted for the modern day consumer. And that led me to imagine this perfect "oasis" where one can relax and read a good book without any distractions, with time passing slower than usual.

Што е посовршено од пикник во парк, придружена од твоите омилени книги, мирен поглед и најубавиот Fossil часовник на твојата рака?

На блогерската дружба организирана од Skopje Casual и My:time минатата недела, ни беше претставен еден забавен предизвик со кој ќе се одбере официјалното лице на Fossil часовниците. Pop of blue

Hello!
Yesterday was a super fun day, Skopje Casual and My:time hosted a blogger meet up, so (almost) all of the Macedonian fashion bloggers got a chance to catch up. I really love these kinds of meet ups, no matter if they are big (like this one) or small with just a few bloggers, you just get to chat about everything with people who have the same interests and passion as you.
My:time did a great job hosting this event and every thing was in true Skopje Casual fashion (I loved the balloons so much that I just had to use them as props haha). You can check out the post they did from the gathering here. Big thanks to Marija for the photos.
I am also taking part in a fun challenge with My:time so keep your eyes peeled on the blog for that.

Вчера беше многу интересен и забавен ден, Skopje Casual и My:time организираа блогерска средба, и (скоро) сите блогери имаа можност да се видат и да си направат еден добар блогерски муабет. Многу ги сакам овие собиранки, без разлика дали се големи (како оваа) или мали со само неколку блогери, добиваш шанса да поразговараш со луѓе со кои ги делиш истите интереси и ја имате истата пасија.
My:time одлично го организираа настанов, и се беше во Skopje Casual стил (толку многу ми се допаднаа балоните што морав да ги искористам како реквизити хаха). Нивниот пост за собиранката може да го погледнете тука. Големо благодарам до Марија за сликите!

October Playlist

Heey guys, sorry about the late Playlist post, I've been super busy these couple of days.
So, October is over and I don't know how I survived it, so much stuff happened I can't even begin to explain. BUT let's talk about the future instead for a little bit. I have SO MUCH cool stuff planned for the next couple of months and I am super excited!
Okay, that was enough of a teaser for you, now onto the playlist!

"1977" by Years & Years is a super chilled song and Olly's vocals are actual heaven. Ugh I love that boy so much. Still listening through their album (mainly cause no new music to be released soon) and I am loving it.

Okay this song was my JAM this past month!"Gold" by Kiiara was introduced to me by the lovely That's so Jack on Youtube and I have been religiously listening to it ever since. Honestly, not a day goes by that I don't listen to this song, I haven't been obsessing over a song like this for a long time! Definitely going to listen more from this artist.

"Lose it" is the perfect chill song, giving off hipster vibes and oh how much do we all want to be hipster amirite?

Up next is "Drifting" by Wolfie. I have been on and off listening to this song for three months straight and It never got it's spot on the actual playlist, but now it is time to introduce you all to it. A cool beat + Wolfie's amazing vocals = repeat for days.

So the next two songs are oldies but goodies. I have listened to these songs religiously in the past and decided to revisit them again in October, and boy did it feel good. "Youth" by Daughter, I mean come on this song is practically written in the history books, it's that good.When you listen to it you are emotionally connected to it, the lyrics hit you hard with this one. And of course, "Taste my sad" by Bear//Face, this one is the total opposite from "Youth" where it's all about the lyrics - here it's all about the music aspect of it, you can even barely recognize what the girl is singing haha. But that gives the song so much more character, and that is why it is one of my all time favorite songs, it's up there with "Latch" for me.

If I said that I didn't jump on the "Hotline Bling" wagon and didn't laugh endlessly at all of the Vines of Drake dancing I would be lying big time. It's a really catchy song with a really catchy dance, who could resist?

Before there was "Hotline Bling" sung by Drake, for me, there was "Hotline Bling" covered by Sam Smith & Disclosure (my baes). I couldn't find the original song on Youtube to hear what the fuss was all about, and I found this cover that I absolutely fell in love with. It gives a whole different dimension to the song, plus Sam Smith with his heavenly voice covering a Drake song?! Must listen!

And last but not least, Janet Jackson. JANET JACKSON? Elena..?
I know I know, I am the first person to admit that Janet Jackson is probably the last person I thought I would listen to, but hey stuff happens. Or in this case, Kyle Hanagami happens (I am a big KH fan), he posted a choreography for this song and if there is anyone that can make me like a certain song, it's him and his choreographs. "Burn it up" is probably not every ones cup of tea, but I liked it enough to put it in my playlist so there's that.

FWSK | HOME BY IRINA TOSHEVA

Last post from FWSK guys! Sorry I have been absent these past couple of days but I am back to finish what I started, and what better way to end my FWSK posts than with a review of my favorite show of the season. I have always loved Irina Tosheva's style and aesthetic and I am not being biased when I say her show every season Is the one I am expecting with the most joy and excitement. Everyone in the Macedonian "fashion waters" knows that Tosheva is famous for throwing an experience whilst watching her fashion shows, from the selection of music (strictly Macedonian) to the actual designs, there is always a full house for Tosheva. And of course, she did not fail to deliver once again, I'll go as far as to say that this Is my favorite collection of hers so far. Her collection named "Home" is inspired by Vane Kosturanov's "Love Street" - an exhibition well known in Macedonia (and adored) which made me even more excited. Tosheva shows us the perfect balance between art and fashion, mending those two terms together in a colorful and youthful way. With the 80s vibe visibly present, the models pranced on the catwalk to the music of Macedonian band Nokaut, with crooked ponytails and cute socks to match the theme.
It is safe to say that this collection made everyone want at least one piece, and that definitely includes me.

Се извинувам што бев отсутна последниве неколку дена, но се враќам да го завршам тоа што го започнав, и нема подобар начин да се завршат моите FWSK постови отколку со review за мојата омилена ревија за оваа сезона. Секогаш сум го обожавала стилот и естетиката на Ирина Тошева и не сум пристрасна кога велам дека нејзините ревии секоја сезона се тие на кои најмногу им се радувам.
Сите во "македонските води" знаат дека Тошева е позната по нејзините ревии кои се сметаат за вистинско искуство, почнувајќи од музиката која секогаш е стриктно македонска, до самите дизајни, за Ирина Тошева секогаш е полна куќа. И се разбира, таа не не разочара и овој пат.
Нејзината колекција под името "Дома", инспирирана од уметникот Ване Костуранов и неговата изложба "Улица Љубов" ја остави целата публика со желба да поседуваат барем едно парче. Тошева ни покажува како може да се избалансираат уметноста и модата, спојувајќи ги овие два поима на колоритен и младешки начин. Со видно присутниот дух на осумдесеттите, манекенките потскокнуваа по пистата на музиката на Нокаут, со криви репчиња и слатки чорапчиња за да се заокружи целата тема.
