April Playlist

Hello!
So, April is about to end soo that means it's time for my April Playlist!
April was the month of adventure and exploring and hanging out with friends. I went on the highly anticipated excursion (Check out the post about Prague here and the post about Dresden here) and whilst on the road some of these songs were played on repeat and some were later discovered.
This month I discovered some older songs and was taken back by the fact that I am just discovering them now (the same goes about this "new" tv series that I am binge watching called The 100. YOU.MUST.WATCH.IT if you haven't already) and also I quite liked remixes as you can see from the list.

"Habits of my heart" is a great chill out song that you can totally sing to, the melody is very catchy and just an over all great song.
"All hands on deck" (Giraffage remix) was a random discovery of mine. At the beginning I wasn't really into this remix but I quickly changed my mind. This song makes me wanna dance so much, you have no idea. Also, the song itself is a good song, but I like the remix version more.
"Worship" is the newest song by my faves Years & Years. I LOVED this song just by listening to the first 20 seconds of it, so you can imagine the emotions I went through when I listened to the whole song. And I am telling you now, Years & Years will forever have a spot on my monthly playlists (and my heart)
"Tunnel Vision" is the song that inspired the whole "old song that I didn't knew existed" rant at the beginning of the post. You know the feeling when you first hear a 10 second snippet of a song and then you love it and you try to find it on Shazam but it just won't recognize it? Yeah, that happened to me with this song. But at the end you do find it and you cry happy tears...
"Drunk in love" (Sikdope remix) is another awesome remix. Yeah Drunk in love is a bit last year but I mean come on, a bit of Beyonce never hurt nobody. At the begging of the song you think Oh yeah I know this part but then "the drop" happens and you just wanna dance and stuff. It's a great Trap remix for those of you who are into that kind of music. I recommend headphones and volume on full blast!
"Mind" is also a song with a drop and you can see by the two other songs on the playlist I quite enjoyed this kind of music if you can call it like that. Skrillex and Diplo make a good combination.
And now we ease a bit from the dance music and go onto the more "not so aggressive on the ear"  music.
"Let it go" by James Bay - the guy with the dreamiest voice ever! This song is just plain beautiful to listen to.
"Don't wanna be your girl" is a chill song and I really liked the lyrics of the song and the meaning. It is pretty straight forward - the girl wants to break up with the guy because she deserves better, and before you start thinking oh Elena wants to break up with someone or went through a break up you are soo wrong. I just liked that the song is very empowering and doesn't cover the reality of most relationships these days.

And that is it! AVON Beauty Workshop

Soo, I filmed a video tutorial for AVON, no big deal. (excitingly squealing inside)
When I first got offered to be part of this crazy awesome project I jumped straight to it! Do I have professional knowledge in make up? No. Have I ever filmed a proper make up tutorial in my life? No. So, one would think, why is she even doing it? Well my dear readers, It was just too good to pass up.
The deal was to film a make up tutorial with all products from AVONs collections and then attend the first Beauty Workshop created by AVON with stylists and make up artists Caci Pakovska and Magdalena Medichi.
And then, we had our first meeting with AVON, Marketing agency New Moment and some of my dearest bloggers colleagues that were also a part of the project. At the meeting we were handed our make up and our video themes. Mine was Make up for 5 and 15 minutes which I was soo excited about because my whole life is Make up for 5 minutes honestly.
A few days later, filming day arrived and I headed down to the New Moment offices where a professional setup and camera was waiting me. I was both excited and nervous at the same time, but as we filmed the video I got more and more comfortable in front of the camera. It was totally an experience to remember.
And finally, the Beauty Workshop. It was a truly fun and interactive workshop where both Caci Pakovska and Magdalena Medichi gave us tips and tricks on how to do our make up right, or how to do our make up for a certain occasion. It was so fun to see almost all of the Macedonian bloggers in one room, we were all just chatting and sipping our coffee. I loved how the Workshop turned out and I would most definitely visit the next one in the future. And congratulations to Azize Demishi (click here to check out her blog) for winning the Video Tutorial challenge, we all loved it!


Пааа, снимив видео туторијал за АVON, ништо посебно. (врискање и пискање одвнатре)
Кога на почетокот ми предложија да бидам дел од овој неверојатен проект јас веднаш се согласив. Дали сум професионален шминкер? Не. Дали до сега имам снимено видео туторијал? Не. Би помислиле, тогаш зошто си се согласила? Одговорот е - затоа што е премногу интересно за да не се согласам!
Договорот беше да се сними видео туторијал на зададена тема со шминките на AVON и да се присуствува на првата работилница за убавина и декоративна козметика поддржана од AVON со стилистките и мејкап артисти Цаци Паковска и Магдалена Медичи.
Прво беше состанокот за видеата, каде на мене и на другите блогерки кои беа дел од проектов ни ги зададоа темите на кои ќе се шминкаме и ни ги дадоа самите шминки (тука сите бевме како мали дечиња кога ќе им дадеш нови играчки). Мене ми се падна темата Шминка за 5 и шминка за 15 минути што е одлично бидејќи целиот мој живот е шминка за 5 минути искрено.
Неколку дена подоцна беше ден за снимање и се упатив кон канцелариите на Маркетинг Агенцијата New Moment каде ме чекаше професионално снимање на видеото, и тука моите чувства беа микс помеѓу возбуденост и гооолема нервоза. Но, целото искуство беше многу интересно и како што снимавме се повеќе и повеќе се опуштив.
И конечно, Работилницата за убавина и декоративна козметика. Целиот евент беше одлично подготвен, Цаци Паковска и Магдалена Медичи ни дадоа одлични совети и трикови за нашата шминка и како ја нанесуваме истата. Исто така ни демонстрираа и повеќе различни изгледа за различни намени. На евентот беа присутни скоро сите македонски блогерки што многу ме израдува, и го поминавме денот муабетејќи и пиејќи сокчиња и кафе. Исто така, големо Честито до Азизе Демиши (клик тука за нејзиниот блог) која ја освои наградата за најдобар видео туторијал, на сите премногу ни се допадна!

Reflective

Hello!
Honestly, I have been loving blogging even more since I got back from excursion. I got back with a few new pieces that gave me so much inspiration for future outfits (what a fashion blogger thinks about most of the time, this and scouting for new photo shoot locations). So, this ribbed T-shirt paired with the necklace is probably what I would wear if I could for the rest of my life, but I sadly can't so... I decided to bust out my old pair of ripped kind-of-baggy jeans, my favorite Vans and voila. A perfectly effortless yet still stylish outfit was born.

P.S. The feeling you get when the location goes perfectly with what you are wearing is indescribable!

Искрено, од кога се вратив од екскурзија се повеќе и повеќе уживам во блогирањето. Се вратив со неколку нови парчиња облека кои ми дадоа толку многу инспирација за понатамошни комбинации (еве за што размислува еден моден блогер поголемиот дел од времето. Ова, и барање на можни локации за сликање). Оваа сива маичка заедно со ланчињата е нешто што тотално би можела да го носам до крајот на мојот живот, но не можам така да... Сивите скинати фармерки од праисторијата беа сосема случаен избор, но на крај бев презадоволна со тоа како го надополнуваат тој безгрижен, но се уште стилски изглед кон кој целев.
Се надевам ќе ви се допадне.
П.С. Чувството кога ќе најдеш локација која тотално се надополнува со тоа што го носиш е најзадоволителното нешто на светот.

Urban spring

Hello!
It's an outfit post, finally! We came back from the groggy excursion weather to beautiful sunny Skopje and it honestly felt so good. We couldn't have been greeted in a better way. So, after I pulled myself together from my virus (or whatever) I went straight to take some photos. The top that I am wearing here is everything I need in life from a top - it's a button up, it's cropped and it is in this lovely baby blue color. I died when I saw it. And here I paired it with high waisted jeans with a ripped knee, boots and some funky sunglasses.

Конечно аутфит пост, нели?! Кога се вративме од екскурзија и од ужасното ладно време во топло и сончево Скопје мислам дека сите бевме пресреќни. Не можевме да бидеме пречекани на подобар начин. Така да, откако успеав да се соземам после вирусот кој го фатив на последниот ден, веднаш отидов да се сликам. Кошулката која ја носам е се што ми треба во животот од едно горно парче облека - кошула е, има краток крој и е во оваа прекрасна бебешко сина нијанса. Умрев кога ја видов (не буквално...). Овде ја искомбинирав со фармерки со висок струк со скинато колено, чизмички и интересни наочари.
Се надевам ќе ви се допадне.

A trip to... #3

Hello!

So, as you know I went on my school excursion and returned a few days ago, filled with pictures to share with you. The first stop was the beautiful city Prague and if you haven't already, you can check it out here. I also made "A trip to..." post about my day in Thessaloniki, Greece and you can check that out also, here. Now, back to the city that I am telling you about today, and that is the gorgeous Dresden. 

Dresden is the capital city of the Free State of Saxony in Germany and it is situated near the Czech border, so it was only a couple of hours away from Prague which made traveling not as sickening. I honesty wasn't expecting much from Dresden just because It wasn't as popular or commercialized as per say Prague or Vienna and this was the first time I have heard of a town called Dresden, but boy was I wrong. We said goodbye to the gloomy Czech weather and hello to beautiful sunny Germany (or Saxony, just to be clear). The monuments, the cathedral, the castles, it was all like from a fairy tale. And to hear the devastating history of this town was heart breaking, Dresden was completely destroyed in WWII from British and American bombing and about 25,000 people were killed. But, this town has come a long way since then, and was able to be almost everyone's favorite stop in the excursion. 

This is the last post from my excursion because the next city that we went to was Vienna on our way back but I managed to catch a fever and I was barely even walking, let alone taking photos.

Како што знаете, јас само што се вратив од мојата екскурзија, полна со слики кои сакам да ги споделам со вас. Првата станица беше прекрасната Прага, и ако го немате погледнато тој пост се уште, клик тука. Исто така, ваков пост имам направено и за Тесалоники (ние си го знаеме како Солун) и тој пост може да го погледнете тука. Сега, се враќаме на градот за кој ќе ви зборувам денес, а тоа е преубавиот Дрезден. 

Дрезден е главниот град на државата Саксонија во Германија, и се наоѓа блиску до Чешката граница што ни го олесни патувањето од Прага 10 пати повеќе. Искрено, јас отидов скоро без никакви очекувања во Дрезден, само затоа што не е толку популарен или искомерцијализиран како што се на пример Прага и Виена, и навистина се изненадив од тоа што ме пречека. Се подравивме со облачното чешко време и кажавме здраво на убавата сончева Германија (или Саксонија во овој случај). Од спомениците, до замоците, катедралата и зградите, Дрезден изгледаше како да е излезен од бајка. И да се слушне страшната историја на овој град беше срцекршачко, Дрезден целосно бил срамнет до земја после бомбардирањата од Британија и Америка во Втора светска војна, каде биле убиени околу 25,000 луѓе. Но, долго време е поминато од тогаш и овој град успеа да си ја врати својата убавина и да стане омилената посета на повеќето од моите соученици од целата екскурзија, вклучувајќи ме и мене.

Ова е последниот пост од екскурзијата, следната станица беше Виена, но јас успеав да се разболам и да качам температура и сликањето ми беше последното нешто на ум.

A trip to... #2

Hello everyone!

I am back after a long time, but with an explanation. If you follow me on instagram (@vasilevska_elena) you would know that for the past 6 or so days I have been traveling the lands of Serbia,Hungary,Czech Republic,Austria and Germany with my classmates and everyone  who is third year in my high school basically. This was the most anticipated excursion I have ever encountered, It was a topic of conversation since the beginning of the school year, we were all just so excited. And after 2 whole days of sleepless bus rides, snow (YES SNOW), some sun, dancing and singing, shopping and taking pictures, now, we are back in our own homes, celebrating Easter. 

This was our first stop, Prague - the largest and capital city of Czech Republic. I adore this city, even though we all froze to death whilst touring all of the castles and bridges and so on. The snow really caught us off guard, even though it looked very pretty (just like from a movie) the cold bothered all of us. But, never the less, we managed to see the best of Prague and these are some of the buildings and tourist attractions that caught my eye the most. Prague is such a historic city, it is one of the oldest cities in Europe. We visited The Prague astronomical clock, Charles Bridge, Old town, The Jewish quarter, The Prague Castle and many more.

Здраво на сите!

Ме немаше доста долго време, но со причина. Ако ме следите на инстаграм (@vasilevska_elena) тогаш би знаеле дека последните 6 дена јас, заедно со цела генерација од  моето средно училиште, патувавме низ европски земји, односно ја имавме нашата долго очекувана екскурзија. Ги поминавме Белград и Унгарија за да стигнеме во Чешка, и од таму да наминеме до Германија и Австрија. Оваа екскурзија беше тема на разговор уште од почетокот на школската година, премногу бевме возбудени. И после цели два непреспиени дена патување во автобус, снег (точно така, СНЕГ), малку сонце, пеење и играње, шопинг, сликање и сите други типични работи, сега сме во своите домови и го славиме Велигден. 

Прага беше нашата прва дестинација и местото каде ние престојувавме за време на екскурзијата. Прага е најголемиот и главниот град на Чешка, и можам да кажам дека навистина ми го одзеде здивот. Снегчето кое не пречека беше фино (навистина изгледаше како од филм) ама не фати неподготвени и сите смрзнавме од студ. Но, покрај се, ние успеавме да го видиме најубавото што Прага има да ни го понуди. Ги посетивме Астрономскиот часовник, Карлов Мост, Еврејскиот Кварт, Стариот Град, Прашкиот Замок и многу други туристички атракции и знаменитости. 

Ќе има уште еден ваков пост наскоро, од друг град.
