The Coven

Hello!
Even though I love my creams and pastels, I sometimes find myself wanting to wear something dark for a change, so here we are haha. I am absolutely in love with the hat, it makes me feel like I am part of a Coven (AHS Coven to be more precise, if you watch the show you will totally understand why this hat is awesome). I paired it with a black turtleneck which came very handy since it was freezing that day.
Hope you like it.

Flann-elle

Hello!
No more FWSK posts from me, I am back to regular blogging and I am feeling more inspired and excited than ever.
When I think of autumn only one thing comes to my mind - FLANNELS! Even though that statement reminds me so much of Meryl Streep's "Florals for spring? Groundbreaking" I really do think that the autumn season is incomplete without a nice flannel.
Also, I have been on the search for a nice cute backpack, and I fell in love with this houndstooth print one. I somehow found the backpack's print and the checkered shirt went really well together, it's unusual but sometimes it's good to experiment.

Hope you like it!

Fashion blogging and photography workshop | An experience of a lifetime

As I said in the first Skopje Fashion Weekend blog post, I was not only part of the fashion shows as a guest, I was also a part of a Fashion blogging and photography workshop leaded by stylist and fashion editor Rebekah Roy.

I can safely say that this was one of the most awesome (yes, I am totally going to use that word!) experiences ever, and I am so glad that I decided to apply because if I didn't i knew that that would be something I would regret later. So, I went with my gut and my gut couldn't have been any more right haha.
I spent my mornings in Concept 37 in a lovely atmosphere, having a hot beverage (since outside the weather was crappy and rainy) and discussing about different topics on fashion, blogging, photography and the fashion shows with the most amazing group of people.

Rebekah Roy (@Styliststuff) was the most amazing mentor, she was sweet and kind, and made us all feel welcomed since day 1. We learned a lot about blogging and representing ourselves as a brand, because at the end of the day that is what we are. She also said something along the lines of
"You are the first generation of bloggers in Macedonia" and that was an "Aww" moment for me, but it also made a lot of sense.

The group of people that were with me on the workshop are basically the greatest people you will ever meet (yes, this was a Mean girls quote, I just had to..) Everybody was so nice and we all discovered little things about each other daily. Social media is a big part of our lives, so it was fun to see what we use when we are not on Blogger/Wordpress, or Facebook. We laughed together, we complained together and we even ate together haha (I still have dreams about the lovely selection of food they had for us) We were all from different parts of Macedonia, which made things even harder when FWSK ended. It was hard for me, I had become used to this group of people, and I knew that I had to get up every day at 7:30 so that I can make it in time for the workshop.
But everything that is good must come to an end. And as I am writing this lovely memories come to mind and I am glad that I was a part of this experience of a lifetime.

Skopje Fashion Weekend | Day 4 | Le brand

Another Spring/Summer 2015 collection, but this time by Lili Kadinska for "Le brand".
Clean cuts and geometric shapes were taking center stage when It came to the "Le brand" collection.
Keeping the color palette very simple with black and white, with a touch of peach to add warmth and a deep plum to add coolness, this collection was all about contrast.
Lady-like dresses, pants and skirts with interesting details on the shoulders were the main pieces.

I can safely say that this collection was all about playing with different cuts, whether they were on the skirts in a V shape, or the neck line where my absolute favorites were the high neck cuts with plum borders at the sides.

Also, some of the pieces were (as I said) very lady-like but there were also some pieces that had a sporty vibe to them (The dresses with the pleated skirts really reminded me of the types of dresses that tennis players wear), completely proving that the contrast was not only meant to be present in the color combinations, but in the whole collection as a unit.
